Let’s paint, stitch, and build something completely unique!

In this hands-on mixed-media workshop, kids (ages 5–10) will create a one-of-a-kind artwork by combining painting and simple weaving techniques on a custom cardboard loom.

We’ll start by painting and designing our boards using bold colors, layers, and texture. Once dry enough to work with, students will learn beginner-friendly weaving techniques to add yarn and bring their piece to life.

Students will explore concepts like color, pattern, and texture, while working through a full creative process from start to finish.

This is an open-ended class—each child’s piece will be completely unique, with lots of room for personal expression.

Students will:
    •    Paint and design their own background
    •    Learn simple weaving techniques
    •    Experiment with color, texture, and layering
    •    Create a finished mixed-media weaving to take home

All materials and tools will be provided, with guidance and support throughout.

Each student will leave with a completed woven artwork.
