Fall Patchwork Sweatshirt Workshop 🍂

🍂Bring an old sweatshirt and turn it into a one-of-a-kind wearable piece for fall!

🍂One purchase is for one clothing item.

🍂6-7pm instructions, 7-9 open lab (stay for as little or long as you want)

🍂In this workshop, we’ll use vintage quilt pieces, patchwork scraps, and a collection of coordinating fabrics to create appliqué designs inspired by pumpkins, ghosts, jack-o’-lanterns, and other cozy fall shapes.

🍂Ms. Lauren will walk you through two different ways to create your design: you can build your shape from smaller pieces of fabric using the sewing machine to create your own patchwork, or choose from the fabrics provided and keep your design simple.

🍂Once your appliqué is created, we’ll attach it to your sweatshirt and finish it with hand stitching for that perfectly imperfect, handmade look.

🍂No need to be an experienced sewist —we will demonstrate the process and help you create a design that works with your skill level and style.

🍂Bring your own sweatshirt — all other materials are provided.

🍂Vintage quilt pieces, fabric scraps, needles, thread, sewing machines, templates, and instruction will all be available.

🍂Come make something cozy, a little wonky, and completely your own.
