Join us for a creative evening of stitching, patchwork, and patriotic flair as we transform everyday clothing into one-of-a-kind wearable art just in time for Independence Day!

🇺🇸Sunday June 28th

🇺🇸5-8pm (1 hour instruction + 2 hour open lab to leave when you want!)

🇺🇸$50 — Single Maker
Includes materials for one embellished garment.
🇺🇸$75 — Maker Duo (Adult + Child)
Create together and each make your own project.
🇺🇸$15 — Additional Garments
: Perfect for making matching sibling shirts, multiple holiday outfits, or adding embellishments to several pieces. (Purchase at the workshop!)

🇺🇸Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker, this workshop is designed to teach simple techniques you can continue using long after the workshop ends.

What You’ll Learn
• Basic hand-stitching techniques, including the running stitch
• Simple appliqué methods for attaching patchwork designs to clothing
• Design placement and fabric layering techniques
• Tips for creating custom embellishments on future projects

🇺🇸We’ll have patriotic-inspired shapes, stars, flags, hearts, and plenty of red, white, and blue fabrics available, but you’re welcome to make your project uniquely your own!

🇺🇸What to Bring: 
Please bring one clothing item you’d like to embellish:
• T-shirt
• Sweatshirt
• Denim jacket
• Tote bag
• Shorts
• Or another fabric item you’d love to personalize

🇺🇸What’s Included
• All patriotic patchwork and appliqué materials needed to complete one garment
• Use of studio tools and supplies during the workshop
• A take-home hand-stitching kit for each participant
• Instruction and guidance throughout the workshop

🇺🇸Most participants will leave with a finished project, but if your design needs a little extra time, you’ll have the skills and supplies to continue stitching at home.

🇺🇸No sewing experience required. Children are welcome with a participating adult.
